# Tools and Toolbar

There are various tools you can use in ShapesXR:

* [Text Tool](/objects-creation/text-tool.md)
* [Shape Tool](/objects-creation/shape-tool.md)
* [Draw Tool](/objects-creation/draw-tool.md)
* [Select Tool](/objects-manipulation/basic-manipulation.md)
* [Paint Tool](/objects-creation/paint-tool.md)
* [Measure Tool](/objects-creation/measure-tool.md)

To switch between them, **press the A/X button** on your dominant controller, choose one from the Toolbar, and release the button to activate the tool.
