# Getting Started

### **Login & Access**

When you first open the app, you will see the login screen

* Admins can access the app using a pairing code (via <https://shapes.app/start> or the headset pairing button in the web dashboard).
* **Users assigned to a workstation can only log in using their workstation key.**

If you continue without logging in, access to spaces is limited - only sample spaces are available for viewing

### Lobby&#x20;

After logging in, you’ll land in the Lobby.

Here you can browse:

* Your Places (published and created spaces).
* Sample spaces provided by the app.

Creating new places from samples is only available through the web Dashboard.

To open a place or sample, point and tap it with your finger or use a pinch gesture.

Use the account menu in the top-right to:

* Check your account.
* Log out.
* Quit the app.

### Controls & Navigation

* **Reach out and grab** objects to interact with them.

* **Pinch and drag** with two fingers to move around.
* **Point and hold** to teleport.

* The **arrow buttons on the wrist menu** are used to switch between frames.

* Press **Reset** to restore objects to their original positions.
* Press **Home** to return to the lobby.
