The Scene system can be used in a wide variety of ways. The different scenes could represent variants of a design you would like to share, or even 3D frames of a storyboard illustrating an interaction, a customer journey, or a user flow.

Open the Space menu -> Scenes tab to see the Scenes list in your space. Select the scene in the list to get to it or switch scenes using the stick on your non-dominant hand.

To add a new empty scene click on the Plus button on the action panel on the Scene tab.

On the action panel, you also have the following actions with scenes:

  • Duplicate the current scene.

  • Delete the current scene.

  • Move the scene back and forth to rearrange the scenes.

  • 3 dots menu for more actions.

You also have the action panel on your non-dominant controller - touch the stick to make it appear.

To move objects between scenes, grab any object and switch the scene using the non-dominant hand stick.

Background scene

All objects in the Background scene are visible in all other scenes. Making any changes to this special scene will propagate across all scenes.

You can get this scene from any other scene, no matter what number it is.

To do it, click on the "Switch to/from Background" button on the action panel on the Scenes tab. Or tilt the non-dominant hand stick down.

You'll see a notification above the menu reminding you that you're on the Background scene. To switch from Background, you can use the same button on the action panel or the "Return to Scene" button on the notification, or you can tilt the stick up.

You can do the same to move objects from the Background scene to any other scene: while you're in the Background, choose the target scene with the non-dominant stick, select an object, click on the 3 dots menu in the Inspector, and choose Move to Scene. Or grab an object, switch to the scene by pushing the stick up, and release the object.

Switch to/from .

To move objects to the Background scene, use the : select an object (or objects), click on the 3 dots menu in the Inspector, and choose Move to Background. Or grab an object and push the non-dominant hand stick down, then release the object.
