# Web Editor

The Web Editor lets you create and **edit spaces directly in your browser** — no VR headset required. It’s a fast and convenient way to iterate on your ideas, make quick adjustments, or collaborate without using a headset.

Designed to feel familiar, the Web Editor closely matches the ShapesXR VR app interface, so you can jump in immediately with no learning curve. While some VR-specific tools and settings are exclusive to the headset experience, the Web Editor gives you everything you need for efficient editing, content updates, and rapid prototyping.

#### How to Edit Objects

When you select an object, the [Object Inspector](https://learn.shapesxr.com/object-inspector) opens in the right-side menu. It provides quick access to the **object’s settings**, allowing you to **edit properties** after creation and manage the object’s state in the space with greater precision.

When an object is selected, [Gizmo](https://learn.shapesxr.com/objects-manipulation/gizmo) handles also appear on it. You can **move and scale** the object using the Gizmo or by adjusting values in the **Transform** section of the Object Inspector.

#### Manipulations with Frames

Go to the **Frames** **tab** in the left-side menu to manage frames in your space.

From the action panel at the bottom of the menu, you can duplicate frames, add empty frames, switch to the Background scene, and perform other actions.

**Right-click a frame** to rename, duplicate, or delete it.

#### Collaboration

Collaboration is supported in the web version of ShapesXR, making teamwork seamless across devices. You can collaborate in real time with other users working in VR or directly in the Web Editor — no headset required.

Web users can also take advantage of powerful features such as **Presentation** and **Scene Sync**, available based on their subscription plan.

Learn more about **Follow mode** on this [page](https://learn.shapesxr.com/web-editor/follow-mode), which enables Web Editor users to follow a VR user’s viewpoint for improved alignment and shared context.
