Holonotes allow you to leave comments by recording your voice and the full movements of your avatar to guide your audience's attention to what matters spatially.

How to record a holonote

  1. Go to the Collaboration menu -> Comment tab.

  2. Click on the + button - the preview will appear before you.

  3. Press the Start recording button in the menu or the Record button on the preview to begin recording. After that, a three-second countdown begins. Once the countdown is finished, you can start commenting and moving.

  4. When you're done, press the Stop Recording button in the menu, the Record button on the preview, or the Stop button on the dominant controller (A/X button). A holonote icon will appear in the space.

You can move the holonote icon in the space by grabbing its bottom bar with the grip button.

How to play a holonote

  • Hover over the holonote icon and click on it with the trigger button. You will be teleported to the holonote viewpoint.

You can turn the teleportation off and hide holonotes icons in the Settings (Settings menu -> Holonotes section -> Teleport on Play, Show holonotes in space).

  • Or you can go to the Collaboration menu -> Comment tab, and click on the play button on the holonote card. Click on the play button in the opened preview.

How to delete a holonote

Grab the holonote's bottom bar and throw it away as any other object. Or go to the Collaboration menu -> Comment tab, and press the Delete button on the holonote's card.

How to rerecord a holonote

Go to the Collaboration menu -> Comment tab, and press the play button on the holonote card. Click on the Edit button in the opened preview. Then press the Re-record button and make a new record after the countdown.

How to rename a holonote

Go to the Collaboration menu -> Comment tab, and click on the play button on the holonote card. Click on the Edit button in the opened preview. Type the new holonote name into the text field and save the changes.
