Viewpoints

To review and present your projects from a certain point of view, we have Viewpoints.

There is one Viewpoint by default in a space - when you appear in the space for the first time your position matches this Viewpoint's position.

Creating Viewpoints

You can add more Viewpoints in the Space menu -> Viewpoints tab. A new viewpoint will be created on your current position.

Also, you can duplicate the existing Viewpoint by pressing the non-dominant trigger button and pulling out the new Viewpoint from the existing one with the dominant grip button.

Adjust the Viewpoint's position by grabbing its head and moving the Viewpoint.

Other actions with Viewpoints

On the action panel in the Viewpoints tab, you also have the following options:

  • Teleport to Viewpoint - click on this button to be moved into the selected viewpoint's position.

  • Move viewpoint back and forward - you can change viewpoints places in the list.

  • Delete viewpoint - remove selected viewpoint (please note, that you can't delete the last remaining viewpoint).

  • Capture screenshot - allows you to take a photo from the selected viewpoint.

Click on the viewpoint's card in the list to get access to its menu:

  • Set view - set the selected viewpoint on your current position.

  • Show space info in screenshot - add space info to screenshots

  • FOV - allows you to adjust the field of view for your future screenshot, you can see it on the preview

  • Take Screenshot - take a photo, and it will appear in the Dashboard (My Files section -> Exported folder)

  • Teleport - click on this button to be moved into the selected viewpoint's position.

How to hide Viewpoints

You can hide Viewpoints in the space and Play mode. To do so go to the Settings menu -> Viewpoints section and disable the "Show viewpoints in space" toggle.
